- 2 teaspoons ghee
- 1 tablespoon khichari spice mix Or other spices
- 1/4 teaspoon black mustard seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 pinch hing asafoetida (not for firey constitions instead use desiccated coconut 1 Tbsp
- 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 1 teaspoon Himalayan salt
- 6 cups water
- 1 cup fresh Cilantro to garnish
- 1 tablespoon lemon pickle and fresh mint leaves and yogurt or keffir optional per person as a topping.
